This Large Cherry Wooden Serving Board has a beautiful and comfortable oval handle. The board is a plank style that works well for entertaining and serving appetizers, bread or a small cheese board.
It is recommended to use wood conditioners (Mineral Oil and/or Beeswax Wood Conditioner) once a week, with a lint free cloth, to all surfaces-including edges and ends-until the finish is established, and at any time the board feels dry. If at any time the grain of your product becomes raised-causing a rough feeling-a light buffing in the affected area with 200 grit sandpaper will smooth the finish. Re-apply a wood conditioner after this sanding process.
Note on Wood Type: Cherry is a durable hardwood. It will darken with with exposure to light and long-term use.
